Klemntyna is the pop-r&b project by London/Brooklyn-based and Warsaw-born singer/songwriter and producer, Klementyna Bohdanowicz.
She recently released her new single Purple Skies and it sounds so good. I like the unique melodic construction. Besides, the vocals are outstanding. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the solid hooks and strong ambient influences.
Lyrically, the song is very impressive. Purple Skies is about nostalgia, vulnerability and hope.
Speaking about the track, Klemntyna says: ”To me, Purple Skies is a metaphor for NYC (and quite literally its jaw-dropping sunsets that were an inspiration to me!), which makes me the most powerful and dynamic, at the same time quite lonely.”
