Clara Zimm’s hope for listener’s is that they relate to her words and feel what she felt.
She recently released her debut single Down The Drain and it sounds so good. I like the powerful vocals. Besides, the melodies are unique. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the r&b elements and solid hooks.
Lyrically, the song is empowering. Down the Drain gives the listener permission to wash their ex lover, or anyone who still has a hold on them, down the drain, because they don’t deserve you and you are better than they will ever be!
On the single, Clara says: ”This song was written from a place of pain and anger towards a past relationship. I was taking a shower after encountering him at a party one night and I couldn’t wash him off of me. as hard as I tried, I couldn’t get this man off of me. It was like he was imprinted on my skin and everyone could see it.. I wanted to make him disappear from my body, my heart, and my mind and my life Hence; the idea of this concept.”
Clara is one of a kind, she’s so talented. Down the Drain deserves all the attention. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
