Melissa Lamm is a pop singer and songwriter based in Toronto, Canada.
She recently released her debut EP All the words I Thought I’d Say, a collection of 5 songs. Melissa’s mini-album was generously crowd-funded by her amazing Twitch.tv community.
One of the highlights is Sober. It’s a soft, sad chill-pop ballad.
The song sounds so good. I like the moody drums patterns. Besides, the vocals are stellar. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the solid hooks and soothing harmonies.
Lyrically, Melissa delivers. She has a unique writing style.
The somber track reflects on the temptation to dive back into a relationship with a rocky old flame.
Melissa is a rising superstar. She inspires with her music.
Sober deserves to be heard. It’s a masterpiece.
The song was produced by Melissa herself alongside Phil Hotz (Hailee Steinfed, Charlie Puth, Johnny Orlando).
You can stream Sober on SoundCloud or Spotify!
