Hanna Mel is the solo project of Hanna Melander, a 23-year old songwriter and producer from Asarum, Sweden. There’s a new single out from her, entitled Shy or Something, which could be a big hit. Before the electronic elements come in, the song starts out really calmly, with just a crisp vocal and acoustic guitar. The sound stands out for its great balance.
Shy or Something has lyrics that represents the feeling of not knowing whether someone likes you back or not. Hannah writes brilliantly and conveys her messages well.
Today, everyone should stream Shy or Something. It not only gives a glimpse of Hanna’s upcoming EP, due out later this year, but also is fantastically crafted. See below!
