Los Angeles-based artist Olivia Soli recently released her debut single, Boy Bye. A blend of pop and R&B provides a style that captures listeners right away. Dynamic, rich melodies accompany the catchy sound. Voices are polished throughout, taking center stage. Due to its creative direction, I think the chorus will be appreciated by many. Production-wise, it’s brilliant.
“The inspiration for Boy Bye is drawn from situations where ‘the thrill is in the chase,’” says Olivia. “Meaning, as soon as the boy thinks he has a hold on you, he is suddenly not interested. As soon as he sees us girls thriving and enjoying life without him, he wants to crawl back.”
