Darla Jade brings her own flair to pop music and has already shown her artistic abilities in previous songs. With Billboard, Spotify, Notion, and many other companies and outlets supporting the UK singer-songwriter, it’s expected that she will achieve even greater success overseas.
Did you know that Darla released an EP recently? It’s named Disconnect and features six songs that are all quite different from each other. The lead single, Pretty, takes some interesting musical directions. Listeners will be astonished by the creativeness of the instrumental. The tune’s lyrics are relatable and are sung convincingly.
Darla describes Pretty as follows: ”The song is all about the feeling of pressure from today’s society and not wanting to fit into this aesthetic mold that somehow now seems almost expected. It’s also about not holding it together all of the time and letting yourself be accepting of that.”
