Amy Zou is a singer, songwriter, and producer who lives in Brooklyn, New York. She released Temple as the first single from her debut EP, Losing Face. It includes experimental sounds along with a variety of accessible ones. A brilliant musical arrangement supports the earnest vocal performance.
Amy explains: Temple specifically is about a relationship where I felt so extremely small, but couldn’t bring myself to leave. I was also reading “Women Who Run with the Wolves” and about ancient Greek mythology / goddesses and felt the visual of a metaphysical temple or place of worship being desecrated by someone you trusted & let in to be especially moving.”
