With Intentions, From her upcoming EP, Groove Philosophy, Marie Dangerfield presents another soulful pop track. The laid-back beat goes very well with the catchy melody. There’s not much dynamic change in the composition, as the vocals already carry enough energy, especially when they’re layered.
Marie gets inspiration from a variety of artists, including Erykah Badu, Moonchild, and Jhene Aiko. Intentions states why she creates music – in the hopes to invite listener’s into a safe space for them to deeply connect to and feel their own emotions.
