My Room Made Public is the debut EP by London based, Derbyshire born indie-pop singer-songwriter Sophie Kilburn. This four-track project provides plenty of variety. With Ruthless, Sophie takes a more energetic approach. Pounding drums and catchy soft-rock guitar licks add an upbeat feel to the instrumental. Sophie’s emotional vocal delivery makes the performance highly engaging.
The EP asks an important question: How much of our lives should we share with the public? It explores the pressure to share everything as a way to find your own identity and validation. Is it necessary to share everything in order to be heard and relatable? Are you not brave enough if you don’t?
