Silk Cinema is a London-based duo consisting of Kristy Wild (vocals) and Raph Aletti (instruments/production). The sound they’ve developed over the past years carries a signature tone. Too Many Times takes cues from traditional R&B while being modern in its presentation. With funky, groovy guitars and ethereal melodies, there’s nothing predictable about this tune.
Lyrically, it talks about the turmoil you face when you experience infidelity and overcoming the hurt & embarrassment of everyone knowing before you. Too Many Times is to empower the listener not to ‘leave your coat behind’ in a chance of going back, because that door is firmly closed!
By integrating both of their creative strengths, Kristy and Ralph come up with highly original musical concepts. Check out the audio below!
