Toronto artist Laurent Bourque presents his take on Brigitte Bardot’s classic, Une histoire de plage. It’s the first French song he has ever released. I enjoy the retro-flavored guitar melody, rich synths, and lighthearted groove. In the background of the production, vocals soar as they search for a place to land.
Laurent pays homage to one of his favorite songs in a very special way with this version. Its fresh elements instantly make it memorable. The lyrics have remained intact, so singing along should be simple.
