French artist OYS shares her new single, Consommer, with the world. It has serene pop melodies and rhythms. As they whirl around, they form a moody backdrop. Graceful vocals underline the meaning of the lyrics.
Regarding the track, OYS says: “I started writing this song when I was at my brother’s house in New York after a discussion with one of his friends. She told me that it was very hard to create deep, genuine relationships here, that Americans “consumed” people. It echoed the situation I was in at that time, I had just separated from my boyfriend and tried to face my demons and my emotions. ”
Music from OYS is heartfelt, because it’s based on real-life experiences. That’s what makes it so fascinating. Check out Consommer below!
