When we think of nostalgia, usually the first thing that comes to mind is a past love. We remember all the good times we had, and it feels like those memories are just a heartbeat away. You should embrace those bittersweet feelings and use them as motivation to keep moving forward. After all, positive things are what make life so worth living. And as long as we keep our hearts open, we’ll never run out of love. However, nostalgia can also lead to some melancholy, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Instead of ignoring it, allow it to be a part of you.
Libby Jade’s debut single, Geometry, is about looking back at the past and thinking about love. It doesn’t have a fast tempo or an upbeat chorus, which can be a refreshing change of pace from the more energetic songs on the radio. When asked about the song, Libby had this to say: “The lyrics initially came to me in a dream so I hope that listeners can feel that dreamy softness when listening.”
