It’s the all-too-familiar story: you meet someone, sparks fly and for a moment, you feel like you’ve finally found your soulmate. But as time goes on, that feeling starts to fade. Suddenly, you’re left alone and wondering what went wrong. Three-piece Toronto indie pop band Cherry Blaster portrays this experience perfectly in their new single, I don’t wanna. The song is lush and soft, with a sad verse that’s quickly overpowered by an exuberant chorus. Vocals sound dreamy, almost as if they’re floating on top of the music.
