The lyrics of Rich Delinquent’s new single, Hallucinating, touch on some serious issues that can be difficult to openly discuss. But Melbourne’s emo-tronic pop star has been clear that he wants his music to be honest and raw, and to reflect the real life experiences that he’s gone through.
In Hallucinating, Rich paints a dark picture of what life was like for him during the time he spent in isolation. He explains that the situation was very tough, but that it also made him numb to it in the end.
The song is a powerful and emotional look at what can happen when someone is pushed to their limit. It’s a reminder that no one is immune to mental health struggles, and that it’s ok to not be ok.
