That’s why it’s so amazing that Alba James has decided to share her experiences with derealization disorder in her new single, Lighter Than Snow. The lyrics are sad, but also powerful. Alba perfectly describes the way this illness can make you feel, and offers hope to those who are struggling.
The ukulele melody is the backbone of the song and provides the rhythmic foundation. The vocals are floaty, and add a touch of emotion to the composition. And the harmonies give Lighter Than Snow a rich, textured sound that sets it apart from other organic and orchestral songs.
