It’s almost unbelievable how honest Tess’ song, Not Human, actually is. The lyrics of this song are brimming with vulnerability and address the pain of feeling different. Tess hopes that by expressing herself, she’ll be able to find people who understand her and want to be a part of her squad.
Despite the instrumental’s mellowness, it has enough variation to keep you engaged. I especially like the ethereal background sounds and the piano melody that weaves everything together. Tess delivers an exceptional performance, one that steals the show.
