SilkBird released her debut single, Wilderness, which opens with the sound of a gentle breeze wafting through the grass. Immediately following that, the Celtic harp joins in and plays one of the most beautiful melodies you’ve ever heard. The vocals throughout are as shimmery as the moon on a stormy night.
I don’t know why, but I’m so fascinated by this. It’s not just the musical aspects that appeal to me, but also the lyrics. The poetic depth Silkbird infused into them cannot be overlooked. They do a great job of adding an extra dimension to the song.
