Anita Lester’s new single, Earthly Desire, stands out from the crowd. Despite its calm ethereal sound, it’s capable of having such a powerful effect on you. The guitars swirl like leaves in the wind, mirroring the lyrics well. Lester’s vocals are infused with an astonishing sense of authenticity.
Earthly Desire is about finding love where you least expect it. Eliya Cohen, an Australian director and video artist, directed the accompanying music video, which harkens back to the aesthetics of the 1960s and 1970s.
