Vancouver-based artist Emily Chambers and the incredibly talented band Stoop Kids are proud to share their new single, Cicadas. The instrumental is upbeat and groovy, with a variety of sounds and textures that give it a 70’s vibe. The vocals are soulful and positioned just above the soundscape, so they blend seamlessly into it.
The lyrics of Cicadas are about an ex-lover that you can’t stop thinking about, no matter how toxic the relationship was. I think many people can relate to this sentiment.
