Kylie Acuña is an alternative/indie musician from Southern California. Currently, she’s working on her debut album, which will be stylistically similar to some of her favorite artists, such as Glass Animals, Still Woozy, and Abhi The Nomad.
Misanthrope, the first single from the project, came out last November. Its melodies are infused with soulful undertones, and will make you want to dance. Acuña’s vocals are polished and don’t become overwhelming at any point during the song.
Misanthrope brings back memories of an old relationship and romanticizes the breakup as you pack up their belongings. The lyrics have incredible depth, and will relate to many people out there.
