BLUEM is the recording project of Chiara Floris, a young Italian singer-songwriter and producer based in London. She just dropped her new single, moonlight, featuring Yasmina. It has a captivating electronic beat and sounds different from anything you’ve ever heard. The vocals flow well, giving the lyrics plenty of prominence.
moonlight‘s lyrics are both Italian and English, which makes them super appealing. The song is inspired by the ancient Sardinian legend of Janas, little women who lived in tiny houses carved into rocks (Domus de Janas) and wove gold to create jewels in filigree (an old technique to work metals used in Sardinian culture).
I think BLUEM will be a major influence on pop music in the future. She adheres to her own artistic vision and doesn’t rely on formulas. Check out moonlight below!
