With Houdini, global superstar Dua Lipa opens up a new chapter following her chart-topping 2020 album Future Nostalgia. It epitomizes the lightness and freedom of being single.
In the track, Lipa examines whether someone is really worth her time or if she will end up ghosting them eventually. There are no guarantees in life, and that’s the beauty of it, the singer believes.
Under fluorescent lights, Lipa revises her choreography after rehearsal in the official music video, directed by Manu Cossu with cinematographer André Chemetoff. As the energy begins to build, the lights reflect in the mirrors, forming an optical illusion.
