Adée raises the bar musically with her new mini-album Rosenlund 4270. She made it at her mother’s house on an island off the east coast of Sweden. The singer-songwriter got help from rapper/vocalist Simon Jnr, British guitarist Tom Ford, and producer Joakim Budde. Since the project goes in all directions, it’d be hard to describe its general sound. And that’s what makes it a one-of-a-kind.

With gold, which opens the mini-album, Adée wants to give her son Arthur an understanding of life that goes beyond money and fame. She really aims to teach him valuable lessons. All lyrics come from the heart here.

falling falling presents interesting textures and vocals, and has a more soulful vibe. Despite not becoming too dynamic, the sound maintains tension. Tony isn’t just catchy, it’s phenomenal. It talks about the person almost everyone has in their lives who takes just a little bit more than they give, but yet it’s so hard not to pick up the phone and hard not to love them.

next bus home blends singing and rapping in a cool manner. Its backdrop, full of quirkiness, gives considerable support to the narrative. more a vibe than a sexy body wraps up the project so well. Particularly, the melodies the song provides are fresh. Oh, there are also some interludes throughout the album, which really give it more substance.

You can tell Adée enjoyed making Rosenlund 4270. Her energy is inspiring. She really came up with something innovative, you’ll be hooked right away.
