Milou Moon is the psych rock project of French-American musician Emily McGill. She shares her new single, The Murray. It features some cool, fast-paced drum patterns. A bassline with lots of excitement is also present. The guitar and synthesizers bring a musical paradise to life.
Moon wrote this track about an idyllic camping spot along the Murray River – koalas abound, hammocks strung between Red Gum trees overlooking the river – during lockdown. The lyrics have been carefully crafted, and their meaning can be admired.
