Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Washington, D.C.-based experimental pop band The North Country release their new single, Be Here Be Now. It has complex arrangements and danceable rhythms that make the music sound pleasing. The vocals are beautifully supported by colorful harmonies, and they work very well here. The chorus includes some creative twists.
Be Here Be Now focuses on staying in the moment despite distractions. Seeing screens displaying bright, flashing colors, and seeing half-naked people manipulated into oblivion, all for the benefit of some faceless corporation.
