LA-based singer/producer Nora Banks has a passion for dark, emotional pop. She shares her debut single, Nostalgic. It starts off with wonderful piano work, eventually accompanied by swirling electronic sounds. The vocals get to the core of your being in both organic and modulated forms.
Nostalgic was written/produced by Nora in her bedroom when she felt nostalgic for her younger/more self-destructive self. It’s about missing things you shouldn’t miss, idealizing your messy years, and wishing for a less stable, yet more exciting time in your life.
