London-based, Filipino indie-pop artist Muri has releases Afternoon, the first official single from her upcoming debut EP. It has some roaring melodies that make things fun while also sharpening the sound. The drums sound good. The vocals tend to be the focus here.
The song recounts the process of adapting to another place, which Muri has personally faced in recent years. After making the bold choice to relocate to Europe and pursue a music career, she was forced to leave behind a lot.
