Chloe Black, half French and half Australian, is a former Londoner who now lives in Los Angeles. She drops her new single, Strange Little Bird. Its lyrics are sincere. Black explains how she feels emotionally closed off and guarded, like she put up a protective barrier around herself to shield her innermost thoughts and feelings. The mention of being a “strange little bird” is indicative of not quite fitting in.
The song has a slow, but fascinating build-up. I love the guitars and strings here, as the sound is kept on its feet by both instruments. The vocals are fluent, making you understand everything.
