Thai rapper, singer, and dancer LISA releases her new single, NEW WOMAN, featuring Spanish singer ROSALÍA. They declare their readiness to be the best version of themselves. LISA believes that shedding old constraints and welcoming a fresh pair of eyes on life are vital. ROSALÍA’s verse reflects a similar level of certainty.
NEW WOMAN features mostly fast-paced pop production, but when ROSALÍA’s enters the mix, it becomes trappy. After the brief interval, things pick up with both artists joining together to sing. We love the contrast that makes up this piece.
It may seem odd that LISA and Rosalia have teamed up, but they blend so well alongside each other. NEW WOMAN promises to empower women and will, of course, be a hit.
