Masha Vuk is a singer/songwriter based in London who’s been crazy about music for a long time. It has always inspired her in some way, and with her new single, Delusional, she hopes others may find it helpful in making their lives more fulfilling as well. It’s composed of heavy electronic beats and thick textures that build upon each other. The song breathes house-influences, but keeps its pop flame burning. The vocals are powerful, and slightly altered for an unexpected effect.
Delusional is inspired by a moment when Masha noticed many women being stigmatized as delusional in modern “situationships.” Typically, these situations usually involve men behaving like boyfriends until faced with serious questions and then ignoring them. Masha reflects on her own experiences in a situationship that ended in being ghosted due to a lack of communication. The song aims you to take back your power, feel confident, and recognize your worth.
Even though this song sounds upbeat, it is actually carrying a serious message. Masha speaks her mind, and we support her. She’s right about what she says. Check out Delusional below!
