Swedish singer-songwriter Julia Logan releases her new single Moodswings. It’s about emotional instability, loneliness and waiting for someone in the midst of turbulent times. This is reflected in the metaphor of mood swings. The lyrics do their job so well.
Folk, pop, and soul are all reflected in the song’s intricate instrumentals. And it sounds phenomenal! I love the way the keys fall in place during the last part, for example. The singing crosses the ordinary.
