Clover County grew up under the sweet orange blossoms and the spiky palms of sunny Central Florida. She releases Ultraviolet as her new single. It has glorious guitar melodies that glow like a butterfly on the verge of fluttering. The drums are neat and particularly catch your ear during the chorus. I can assure you the vocals are phenomenal, carrying the right texture.
Ultraviolet talks about a relationship in which communication is lacking. County feels alone and has many unexpressed emotions. Sometimes it seems like she’s trapped in her own thoughts. She hopes her partner will end the impasse and takes action.
