Multifaceted singer-songwriter, artist, musician and producer Party Nails releases her new single, First Responder. It’s about letting someone toxic go. Almost always, cutting ties is truly the best option. As individuals, we’re far more capable than we often think ourselves to be.
While First Responder addresses a serious subject matter, the lyrics also have hints of humor. Sonically, the track has a layered pop sound, which is rather funny considering Party Nails initially aimed for a country vibe. I specifically enjoy the bass line and guitar contributions, as they give the whole production a lighter feel. Party Nails’ vocals maintain a nice strength and presence without becoming overpowering.
