Having been homeschooled and pretty sheltered growing up, Ryn Kid found a form of liberation and self-expression through creating the kind of edgy, boundary-pushing music that her mom would never have let her listen to back then.
She now releases Obsession. The song celebrates the thrill of intense love, without the usual societal pressures and rigid rules that often come with traditional courtship. A spirit of heedless abandon is present, of throwing caution to the wind and giving in to the overwhelming passion. Ryn literally revels in the obsession, embracing the dizzying highs and lows.
The synth-heavy beats and the crystalline vocals build an electrifying atmosphere, harmonizing nicely with the song’s theme. It’s all extremely well thought out. Check out Obsession below!
