LA-based artist Nora Bank fully wrote and produced Orange Juice this past summer. Working from the comfort of her bedroom studio, she aimed to bottle up that feeling of an endless summer weekend when the good times seem to stretch on forever and nobody wants the party to end.
With a chill, laidback vibe, Orange Juice pairs alt-pop production with Nora’s calm, dreamy vocals. Breezy textures and shimmery synths generate an aura of hazy contentment, like watching the sun dip below the horizon on a sunny beach day. But there’s also an underlying melancholy, like the moment will only last for so long.
Rather than dwelling on summer’s inevitable close, Orange Juice celebrates its fleeting joys. Check it out below!
