British artist Gabby Martin releases her new single Summer Rain. It’s about the aftermath of a break-up and the emotions that coincide with it. You often feel confused and angry, because you’ve thousands of questions. On top of that, doubt is weighing heavily on your mind. You sincerely try to figure out what went wrong.
I find the song’s production to be very intense, especially during the chorus. Musically, it reflects what Gabby describes well. She sings with pure emotion and stresses the right notes, which ensures you’re fully engaged in the story. There will be nothing distracting you from that.
