The song talks about unattainable love and the effect it has on your feelings. While you crave that person’s attention, you also know you have to hold yourself back because it will ultimately lead nowhere. In short, you must constantly observe yourself as if you’re a camera.
Stop Myself features fairly gritty pop instrumentals with industrial textures that give the sound an unfiltered character. I love how deeply the emotions are reflected in the vocals. You can truly hear Moore is in a state of inner conflict. Well done!
