Seattle-born and Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Gavrielle releases her new single, winter blues. It was originally built around ukulele. But beautiful acoustic drums & woodwind instruments were added later. The vocals sound dreamlike and immediately communicate escapism.
winter blues details the woes of falling into seasonal depression and the constant need to find warmth in the moments of utter despair that ensues. It acts as a symbol of hope for those facing similar inner battles, urging them to come together in solidarity with the shared aspiration of emerging victoriously from the darkness to embrace the light.
