Lights is many things all at once: singer, songwriter,producer, multi-instrumentalist, comic book author, and dj. ALIVE AGAIN follows previously released teaser-track DAMAGE from Lights’ forthcoming album A6, due May 2.
The track has catchy electro-pop production, infused with nostalgic sounds and modern energy. I love the way the vocals cut through the atmosphere. They possess an unmistakable force that can only be cheered.
ALIVE AGAIN is about those really tough times we go through, when we’re feeling down and facing our inner demons. But from that low point, we can actually gain some perspective on what truly matters to us in life and with the people closest to us. It’s like a wake-up call to re-evaluate our priorities and desires.
