Tangerine Cassette is rapidly becoming a notable name in the indie pop scene. Their tracks have been featured on various Spotify editorial playlists, including Fresh Finds, Salt, Fresh Finds Pop, and New Pop Picks.
Fans of artists like Charli XCX and Lady Gaga will find I AM EVERYTHING to be an upbeat, brat-pop song that resonates with them. It’s super energetic, using electronic textures to pierce through a thick background. The vocals are sassy and don’t mess around.
The lyrics champion confidence. The chorus, for example, urges you to accept your true self – “Blue, red, yellow, green…Teal, lime, violet, pink I am everything”. If listening to this doesn’t make you feel more empowered, I’m not sure what will.
Tangerine Cassette also delivers a cool visual for I AM EVERYTHING. There are some nice references to video games in it, taking you back to the old 8-bit and 16-bit days.
