As part of the ongoing celebration of You Forgot It In People, Miya Folick, Hand Habits, and Sasami come together to reimagine one of Broken Social Scene’s most iconic tracks: Almost Crimes. Their version doesn’t just mimic the original, it stretches it out, and lets it resonate in new and resonant ways.
What was once a frenzied, urgent piece of indie rock becomes something slower, deeper, and more introspective. Folick and Habits’s melodic vocals sweep through the track like mist on the edge of the Pacific, grounded by Sasami’s subtle, evocative production.
