Norway artist Jouska releases her new single, Pierced.. It captures the inner conflict of wanting to shut down the heart and mind to avoid pain, while still craving deep, even destructive, emotional connection. The lyrics are super thoughtful, in my opinion.
I appreciate the experimental nature of the production here. It has quirky melodies and phenomenal drum patterns that make your dreams come true. The vocals may be calm, but they certainly radiate sincerity.
