Rising Boorloo/Perth star ALEIA shares her heart through her new song, Pretty When I Cry. It talks about the desperation of clinging to the belief that someone cares about you when in reality they don’t. They’re probably trying to mislead you, which is unfortunate.
I love the production here. Calm guitars move the melody in a slow, but compelling way. The vocals sound heartfelt, fully reflecting the lyrics’ mood. You want to hear them all the way through.
