Nicky MacKenzie is a rising pop star from Salt Spring Island, Canada. Her new single, I Should Go, dropped recently. She says its lyrics are about bad habits, dark and twisted nights, and the unmistakable feeling of knowing you should say no, but saying yes anyway.
The production sounds catchy, weaving dance-pop textures into a vibrant, upbeat groove. I like how the vocals build their own atmosphere as they swirl around. The chorus builds brilliantly, so my praise goes out to it
