With Don’t You Wanna Feel It, singer-songwriter Rosie H Sullivan distills the exact moment life feels bright again. It was written during a trip to Copenhagen with acclaimed producer and songwriter Bastian Langebæk (best known as the right hand man of acclaimed artist Olivia Dean).
For Rosie, working closely with him marked a significant milestone: “Getting the chance to work with Bastian was a huge moment for me – I’ve admired his work for so long,” Rosie shares. “From the moment we started writing, the chemistry was just there. Everything flowed so naturally.”
The track’s organic, sun-drenched production reflects the emotional high Rosie experienced in Copenhagen. “I’d been feeling low for a while,” she recalls. “Then I landed in Copenhagen, a city I’d fallen in love with as a teenager. The next morning, walking to the studio with a coffee and pastry in hand, I realised how far I’d come. It was like the sadness just lifted. I felt alive again.”
Don’t You Wanna Feel It will resonate with many people, for sure. Check it out below!
