London-based electropop sensation charly haze releases her exciting new EP POLY POP through Kartel Music Group. There are five tracks on the EP, including the new single Wasted. She talks about a past where she gave too much to people and situations that weren’t really there for her. She leaned on “maybes” just to fill the loneliness, but now she’s reclaiming her time. The lyrics are honest, and really capture what it means to put yourself first and realize your innate value.
The arrangement of Wasted features catchy synth riffs and New Order-esque basslines. The vocals create the right energy through their powerful sound. The chorus has a good drive to it.
