Joëtta is a Dutch indie/folk singer and songwriter. She releases her new single, Playground. It talks about looking back on a relationship that’s lost its spark. The lyrics remember when things felt light and fun, like a playground, and wonder when it all changed. They’re full of the “when did we drift apart?” feeling.
I love the dreamy atmosphere of the song. With a delicate touch, the acoustic guitar melodies drive the sound forward. The vocals feel heartfelt, which makes you want to shed a tear.
