Indie alt-pop artist Estella Dawn puts her emotions out there with her new single, Conversations. It explores the tension between believing in promises and recognizing the truth of actions. The lyrics touch the heart, perhaps even causing tears to roll down your cheeks. Yes, they’re that heartfelt. Dawn isn’t here to play games, she’s here to tell the truth.
The track starts stripped back, with just piano and alto vocals providing an intimate, confessional atmosphere. As it progresses, it develops layers of harmonies, lush instrumentation, and a textured soundscape woven together with strings, synths, vocoders, and subtle electronic textures.
