Jordan Corey is a songwriter and artist with 14+ years experience in the industry. She wrote the bones of Feel Me on an overcast Venice morning, sitting on the living room floor with a hot cup of coffee. Throughout the song, she explores the desire to understand another person deeply, not to change them, but to honor them. The song reaches beyond familiar definitions of love, reaching instead for something elemental: goodness.
I appreciate the old-school production of this song, which harkens back to classical soul. There are, however, some more modern textures as well. The vocals sound playful, giving them a dynamic quality.
